Objective: The objective of celebrating World Population Day was to raise awareness among students about the pressing issues related to overpopulation, such as resource scarcity, environmental degradation, and social challenges. The event aimed to encourage young minds to reflect on the consequences of unchecked population growth and promote the idea of sustainable living.
 
Details of the Event: To mark the occasion, a drawing competition on the theme "Population – Management or Menace?" was organized for students. The event commenced with a short talk by faculty members highlighting the significance of World Population Day and the need for responsible population management. Students enthusiastically participated in the competition, expressing their ideas creatively through artwork. The drawings showcased powerful messages on topics such as family planning, environmental impact, urban crowding, and the need for public awareness.
 
Number of Participants: 63 students
 
Outcome: The competition provided students with an engaging platform to creatively explore and express their thoughts on a critical global issue. The event successfully fulfilled its goal of spreading awareness and inspiring proactive thinking among youth regarding population control.
