Name of the Activity: Adaptation Review Challenge – Book vs. Screen

Objective: The competition aimed to encourage students to critically analyze and compare books with their film or series adaptations to enhance their literary appreciation, evaluative thinking, and communication skills.

Details of the Event:Participants selected a wide variety of texts and their adaptations, ranging from classics to contemporary works. Each presentation highlighted similarities and differences in characters, plot, themes, dialogues, and settings, while also evaluating creative choices made in the adaptations. Students expressed their insights through structured reviews that combined literary understanding with cinematic analysis.

Outcome: The Adaptation Review Challenge fostered critical thinking, sharpened analytical and presentation skills, and generated enthusiasm for exploring stories in both print and screen forms.
