Objective: The objective of this activity was to make the students engage with the classical Sanskrit play Swapnavasavadatta (translated in English) in an interactive and immersive manner. By employing drama performance as a teaching tool, the aim was to foster a deeper understanding of the text, its cultural significance, and its thematic elements, while also enhancing students' creativity, communication skills, and teamwork.
Details of the Activity: As part of the curriculum, Swapnavasavadatta, a renowned Sanskrit play by Bhasa translated in English, was introduced to students through an innovative teaching method involving a drama performance. The activity included: Script Analysis and Role Allocation, Rehearsals and Performance showcasing the students' understanding of the play.

Outcome: This innovative teaching method transformed a traditional classroom experience into a dynamic and participative learning activity. Teaching Swapnavasavadatta through drama performance not only deepened students' understanding of classical literature but also equipped them with valuable life skills.
