Details of the Programme - 

A special visit was arranged by the Samvedana Committee of the college to make the students aware about the issues of health and hygiene. The faculty of Home Science Department Prof. Sonalben Raval addressed the girls to make them aware about the menstrual problems and the healthcare associated with it. A distribution of sanitary pads was also held.

Objectives - 

The girl-students learnt the importance of hygiene and were motivated to cultivate good habits as regards their own health during the menstrual phase

Learning outcomes - 

Enhancement of medical awareness on the part of the students so that they would take enough care of their health in terms of health, hygiene and nutrition during menstruation and make more informed health choices to lead a long and disease-free life.
